LifebankUSA has demonstrated a successful history of collecting and banking stem cells, and we have successfully released cord blood stem cells for therapeutic treatment. LifebankUSA is the first Placenta•Cord™ banking company and one of the largest placenta and cord blood storage service providers in the world. We have provided banking services for thousands of families worldwide. LifebankUSA offers private placenta and cord blood storage and is one of the most highly recognized services available in the United States. In addition, LifebankUSA is AABB (formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks) accredited, ISO certified, and FDA registered.
Experience
LifebankUSA is one of only a few private banks that has actually released stem cells for transplantation. LifebankUSA is proud to say we have released units for clinical use in 17 patients to date. Released units have been used to treat oncology patients with various diseases such as acute myelogenous leukemia and Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. The storage time of the stem cells used in these transplants was from less than one year to more than three years, and units were transplanted into both children and adults. Service
When it comes to service, LifebankUSA is committed to being there for our customers. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff is available to our enrolled families seven days a week to assist with all placenta and cord blood storage needs. You can contact us via our toll-free number 1-877-LIFEBANKUSA (1-877-543-3226) or online at info@lifebankusa.com for your convenience.
Quality Assurance
Only LifebankUSA offers quality assurance that provides a free unit of stem cells from our public registry—assuming an appropriate match can be found—in the rare case that privately banked stem cells do not engraft following a transplant. If a medically acceptable match cannot be made from our own donor bank, LifebankUSA will contribute up to $25,000 toward the search and procurement of a publicly available donor unit, if obtainable. It’s all part of the LifebankUSA commitment.
